The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced the activation of the second “T” of the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T), focused on the “Human City for Good Living,” public services, and infrastructure.

This announcement was made during a tour of the El Cojo Station, part of the Warairarepano cable car system, which is currently undergoing restoration.

Accompanied by the First Lady, Cilia Flores, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, and other civil and military officials, the president inspected the works on this tourist infrastructure, which had been abandoned since the end of the twentieth century.

During his visit, President Maduro emphasized the importance of strengthening the country’s integral development through these transformations.

The head of state also called for the alignment of all productive forces in Venezuela, instructing the Minister for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, to ensure the activation of investment contracts to increase cement production, cables, and other building materials. He also ordered the completion of works that are being held up by sanctions imposed on the country.

President Maduro urged the Vice President of Public Works and Services, General Jorge Elieser Márquez, to integrate local communities in all phases of the project for the reactivation of the Waraira Repano-Rialto Cable Car in Macuto, highlighting the importance of citizen participation in the development of these initiatives.
